BMW “Mission Mobile” touring exhibition

The project:

With the “Mission Mobile: Develop. Build. Test.” programme, the BMW Junior Programme goes on tour and communicates knowledge to youngsters aged between 11 and 14 in an entertaining way on the topics of sustainability, technical know-how and design in four mobile containers and interactive workshops.

The task:

In 2015, Wissenswelten Management GmbH was commissioned, in partnership with Erlebniskontor GmbH, to develop and implement a mobile learning venue for youngsters on mobility. A mobile exhibition was the end result, which combined theory and practice. The core of the “Mission Mobile” workshop was to give youngsters the opportunity to try out things for themselves and to build their very own drivable go-cart in teams. By integrating new media, youngsters were able to develop a vehicle, spanning from the idea to a test-drive. They were supervised and guided throughout the project by qualified staff with an educational background. The programme was supported by an interactive quiz and an app specially designed for the project.

This mobile Junior Campus celebrated its premiere at the IAA in 2015 and has since gone on tour every year.
